School Ice Hockey Team
The Loudoun Valley Hockey Club has two teams - an ice hockey team participating in the Northern Virginia Scholastic Hockey League (NVSHL), and an inline hockey team, participating in the Ashburn Inline Hockey League. Loudoun County schools do not currently offer hockey as a varsity sport, but the two leagues offer teams organizing players by the high schools they attend.
Loudoun Valley hockey players typically participate on one or both teams (ice or inline). To read about the sports and academic honors our hockey players have achieved, see the Ice Hockey News section.
Ice Hockey The Loudoun Valley ice hockey team's season is from December to February. The NVSHL allows current 9-12 graders to participate. There is also a spring season at the Ashburn Ice House which serves as a development session - open to current 8th graders.
Inline Hockey The Loudoun Valley inline hockey team season is in three separate sessions - September to December, January to March, and April to June.
